Abstract
The vibration frequency nu(CO) in IR spectra of chelate rhodium(I) chloroca rbonyl complexes [Rh(CO)Cl(drop P boolean AND N drop)] is suggested to be u sed as the electronic parameter nu(Rh) Of the P,N-bidentate ligands. The re ported data have been analyzed which support the suggested approach to esti mating the electronic influence of the P,N-containing compounds.
