The subsolidus regions of the K2MoO4-AMoO(4)-Zr(MoO4)(2) (A = Ni, Co, Cu, Z
n) and Tl2MoO4-AMoO(4)-Zr(MoO4)(2) (A = Mg, Mn, Ni, Co, Cu, Zn, Cd) systems
were investigated for the first time using X-ray powder diffraction and di
fferential thermal analyses. The formation of 5 : 1 : 3 and 1 : 1 : 1 inter
mediate phases is characteristic of these systems. It was found that all of
the divalent metals studied (Mg, Mn, Ni, Co, Cu, Zn, Cd) form 5 : 1 : 3 tr
iple molybdates. The crystal, thermal, and electrophysical characteristics
of the 5 : 1 : 3 phases obtained were determined.
