Fallopian tube catheterization for sterilization

Selective fallopian tube catheterization is an established technique in cas es of tu bal infertility. It can be adapted easily to selective fallopian t u be occlusion for sterilization. An essential question remains: what occlu sion material, device, product, compound will ensure safe, easy, and cheap tubal sterilization via a transvaginal-transuterine route? In these conditi ons, selective tubal sterilization could be a challenge to surgical techniq ues. We review the history and recent advances in selective tubal steriliza tion.
