Abstract
The composition of commercial reagent ACORGA ZNX 50 was investigated by GC/ MS and MS techniques. The reagent contains about 60% wt. of the active subs tances consisting of unreacted dimethyl bibenzimidazole, dimethyl 1-mono(tr idecyloxycarbonyl)-2,2'-bibenzimidazole and dimethyl 1, 1'-bis(tridecyloxyc arbonyl)-2,2'-bibenzimidazole dissolved in C-10-C-15 hydrocarbons. The reag ent additionally contains tridecyl formate.
