Abstract
The modern laterite gold deposits in southern China, which belong to rework ed laterite deposits, can be further divided into three subclasses and seve n types. Their geological features, ore-forming conditions and regularities are discussed. A geologic-geochemical metallogenic model for laterite gold deposits has been established.
