Abstract
This work concerns the calculation of sunrise and sunset hours at a lo cation on complex terrain. This is particularly important to all solar irradiance and illuminance codes that estimate solar irradiance or il luminance on horizontal or inclined surfaces on a specific day at a lo cation on non-flat terrain.
