Cognitive process of time perception. Interest in studies on schizophrenia

There are some clinical, psychopathological and neurobiological data's to a rgue that schizophrenic patient's shows temporal and duration representatio n appraisal. If we except phenomenological studies, those appraisal seems d ifficult to define and to demonstrate objectively. A consensual theory about cognitive process involved in rime perception exi sts. We will show in this paper how interesting this approach could be to e xplore impaired rime perception of schizophrenic patients. Neuropsychologic al models of action are discussed with regard to cognitive rime perception process, They could be very interesting to explain schizophrenic patient tr oubles.
