Abstract
Fungi associated with stem cankers on Diselma aucheri in central Tasmania w ere investigated. Three Ascomycetes (Massaria sp., Trematosphaeria sp. and Pseudophacidium sp.) were observed on stems with canker symptoms. The Pseud ophacidium species was the most consistently isolated fungus from canker ti ssue and is proposed as P. diselmae sp. nov.
