Abstract
The preparation of mixed 10-undecenoyl/phenylaminocarbonyl or benzoyl deriv atives of chitosan is described. Several mixed derivatives were prepared us ing differently substituted aryl isocyanates or benzoyl chlorides. The reac tivity of the starting polysaccharide was found to be influenced by the ace tyl content. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
