Abstract
An analysis of free oscillations of hemispherical shells of explosion-loade d glassy construction polymers revealed a sharp change in their visco-elast ic properties. Similar to high-elasticity polymers undergoing mechanical vi trification, glassy polymers exhibit a trend to transition to a high-elasti city state due to elastic-energy dissipation.
