Abstract
The application of magnetometer with 77k liquid nitrogen temprature range S upercoducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID) in Transience Electromagn etic Method (TEM) is expounded. The field experiments and the results are i ntroduced. Comparing with conventional inductive voltage by inductive choke , directly measuring magnetic by SQUID sensor has more advantages: low nois e, high signal-to-noise ratio and high sensitivity. It wilt provide an adva tageous means to measure weak magnetic in geophysical exploration.
