Lipoma of the cleft soft palate: A case report of a rare congenital anomaly

Objective: Congenital tumors of the oral cavity are extremely uncommon. The teratoid tumors (epiganthi, dermoid, and hairy polyps) account for almost all of the reported cases and are not infrequently associated with cleft of the soft palate, Of the remaining tumors in the pediatric cleft palate pop ulation, infantile lipoma of the oral cavity is exceedingly rare.
