Abstract
Direct electrochemistry of hemoglobin is obtained by coimmobilizing hemoglo bin and sodium montmorillonite at a pyrolytic electrode surface. Hemoglobin maintains most of its native structure in the film. This modified electrod e shows high stability and enzyme-like catalytic activity.
