Elastic response of U-Nb (6%) alloy

Previous work done to measure spall response of U-Nb(6%) alloy showed a som ewhat surprising result. In all experiments done previously no evidence for an elastic wave was observed; that is, no two wave structure was detected. In this paper we report on the results of new experiments done to look at the effect in more detail.
