L. Colagrande et al., Anterior diaphragmatic hernia misinterpreted by X-ray, echocardiography computed tomography scanning and magnetic resonance imaging, J CARD SURG, 41(4), 2000, pp. 643-645
We report the case of a 23-year-old man who was admitted to our Division wi
th the diagnosis of pericardial lipoma Chest X-ray, echocardiography and ma
gnetic resonance imaging failed to reveal an anterior diaphragmatic hernia
containing a small part of the stomach with a big prehernial lipoma that we
re found at surgery. We believe that in all cases of suspected pericardial
lipoma a diaphragmatic hernia should be expected.
