The zero-held-cooled and held-cooled magnetizations, magnetization versus f
ield, and remanent magnetization were measured for a cermet on the base of
Al2O3 using a SQUID magnetometer in the temperature range of 2-360 K. It wa
s shown that magnetic properties of the cermet are determined by independen
t ferromagnetic, paramagnetic and spin-glass contributions. The spin-glass
behavior was studied. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
