Abstract
The RELMA method is a laser induced emission spectral analysis, wich is app licable as an instrument for quality assurance in the rubber mixing room. W ith the RELMA technique relative element concentrations and their distribut ion can be determined in a macroscopic scale in usual cycle times of intern al mixers. Therefore quality statements about the compound or even end prod ucts can be drawn very fast. Within this first paper the optimized RELMA me thods will be presented and some examples for the application will be shown . In the second part of the application of the RELMA method as a quality as surance instrument for liquids (plasticizers) and disperse solids (carbon b lack) will be described.
