Abstract
Full Paper: A series of liquid crystalline oligomers of 4-hydroxybenzoic ac id (HBA) and 2-alkoxyHBAs were synthesized. The structural and conformation al changes of the oligomers were studies by FTIR spectroscopy. The strength ening abilities of the synthesized co-oligomers were investigated by blendi ng the oligomers with polyamide 11(PA 11).
