Abstract
This is a report on the immediate pre-post treatment response of recru ited and nonrecruited bulimic patients to Psychological treatment. The re were many similarities and some differences between the groups prio r to treatment. Although both groups significantly improved with treat ment, no differences between the groups were found on measures of dist urbed eating behaviour, psychopathology and bulimic behaviours.
