Dependence of light-induced drift (LID) on the laser wavelength has been st
udied for lithium vapor. Fluorescence intensity variation for Li-7 atoms cl
early indicated unique nonlinear dependence on the laser power at the diffe
rent wavelengths of the laser beam, indicating the LLD effect of Li-7. We a
lso estimated the drift velocity values from the fluorescence intensity var
iation presently measured and fair agreement with drift velocity was found.
