Abstract
This paper presenrs a series representation for the coupling of 2-D scatter ers based on repeated application of the Sherman-Morrison-Woodbury (SMW) ma trix inverse expansion. These techniques are applied to problems involving a pair of two-dimensional scatterers where the separation between the two s catterers varies. (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
