Abstract
Inherited or acquired immunodeficiencies as well as autoimmune diseases tre ated with cytotoxic drugs are associated with an increased incidence of lym phoma. Non-Hodgkin's lymphomas that occur in the context of drug-induced im munosuppression, acquired or congenital immunodeficiency, are frequently as sociated with Epstein-Barr virus infection. This report describes the occur rence of an Epstein-Ban virus associated pulmonary B cell lymphoma in a pat ient with longstanding rheumatoid arthritis treated with methotrexate.
