Abstract
The influence of higher-order Coulomb effects on semiconductor luminescence spectra is discussed within a correlation-function approach leading to the semiconductor luminescence equations. The results are compared with a Gree n's function treatment based on the Bethe-Salpeter equation and the Kubo-Ma rtin-Schwinger relation between absorption and luminescence spectra under e quilibrium and steady-state conditions.
