The simplest compound picture of a one-dimensional string model and a fireb
all model is discussed in this paper. The rapidity and squared transverse m
omentum distributions of charged particles in pion-proton interactions at h
igh energy are described by the simplest compound picture. The calculated r
esults are in agreement with the experimental data of pi(+)p interactions a
t 250 GeV/c. It is shown that, in the rest frame of the fireball, the parti
cles present isotropic emission and three components of momentum can be reg
arded as the Gaussian type, having the same width.
