Abstract
A comparison is made between the models guiding the administration of adjuv ant material remedies, such as chemotherapy, and 'adjunctive psychological therapy' (APT), in the treatment of cancer. It is argued that patients woul d benefit if APT were supplied subject to the same indications as adjuvant chemotherapy. Copyright (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
