The functional groups present in the nano- and microstructural units of gra
phite fluorooxides (GFO) were studied by the method of Fourier-transform IR
(FTIR) spectroscopy in the frequency range 80-4000 cm(-1) The special feat
ures of the spectral manifestations of the C-F, C-OH, and >C=O bonds and ch
emisorbed moisture were compared for materials of various oxidation degrees
(GFO-50, GFO-E, and GFP-2) comprising carbon, fluorine, oxygen, and hydrog
en. The FTIR absorption and reflectance spectra were used to determine comm
on features and differences in the physicochemical nature of various types
of GFOs.
