Abstract
1,2-Diaza-1,3-butadienes react with 2-mercapto-2-thiazoline to give 1,4-add ucts that in turn produce new 1,6-dithia-4,9-diazaspiro[4.4]non-2-ene deriv atives. The same reactants treated with oxazolidine-2-thione directly affor d new 1-oxa-6-thia-4,9-diazaspiro[4.4]non-7-ene derivatives.
