Abstract
The propagation of magnetostatic waves at the interface between an yttrium- iron-garnet (YIG) film and a layer of perovskite compound LaAlO3, SrTiO3, o r YBa2Cu3O7-x (YBCO) was experimentally studied. The microwave dispersion c haracteristics were measured at room temperature and at 77 K. An effective method for controlling the propagation speed and the phaseshift of magnetos tatic waves in the YIG/YBCO structures is suggested. Specifically, the phas eshift at 3 GHz is changed by more than 1.5 pi by reducing the critical cur rent density from 1 to 0.7 x 10(6) A/cm(2). (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka / Interper iodica".
