Abstract
The application of light scattering probe with organic dyes to the determin ation of protein, nucleic acids and metal ions were reviewed on the basis o f the work of our research group. The experimental phenomena were explained using the principle of light scattering and the theory of resonance enhanc ed light scattering of organic dyes. The structural characteristics of the potential dye-probes for protein analysis and nucleic acids analysis were f oreseen.
