Abstract
A new class of rhodium complexes with high catalytic activity as well. as e xcellent stability, which was used as catalyst for carbonylation of methano l to acetic acid, is reported. It contains free donor (namely un-coordinate d donor) atoms which enable to improve its stability by intramolecular subs titution reaction. Its synthesis, characteristic and catalytic reaction wer e discussed here.
