Abstract
Idiopathic autoimmune haemolytic anaemia developed in a patient with heredi tary spherocytosis. The behaviour of some osmotic fragility tests throughou t the illness and the efficacy of intravenous immunoglobulins in controllin g autoimmune haemolysis which recurred post splenectomy are discussed.
