Abstract
An ultra-wideband free-space sensor for electromagnetic fields has been dev eloped on the basis of a shielded loop antenna. Absolute calibration has be en carried out experimentally and theoretically. The sensor has more than f our octaves bandwidth and a non-differentiating time-domain response.
