Abstract
The electronic structure of praseodymium has been studied by using pho toemission spectroscopy with synchrotron radiation. It is known that t he state near the Fermi level reveals the hybridization of the unoccup ied state of 4f level and (5d, 6s) conduction band electrons. We have clearly observed two peaks near the Fermi level, one of which is very close to the Fermi level. The dependence of this state on the oxygen d ose and photon energy and its resonance through 4d threshold, are stud ied in relation to the 4f occupied state.
