Abstract
The Schiff's bases derived from 4-oxo-4H-1-benzopyran-3-carboxaldehydes wer e condensed with nucleophiles like pheylhydrazine, guanidine, thiourea, and 2-amino thiophenol under different experimental conditions. The structures of the products obtained have been characterized on the basis of IR and H- 1 NMR data.
