Abstract
Some new 4-methyl, 3-phenyl-4-methyl, 3-acetamido-4-methyl and 3'-benzamido -4-methyl-iodo coumarins were prepared and tested for their antibacterial a ctivity. The structures of the new compounds were established on the basis of analytical and spectral data.
