Abstract
The management of a pregnant mother at 20 weeks' gestation presenting with ventricular fibrillation and her subsequent elective caesarean section at 3 8 weeks' gestation are described. Investigation showed the presence of coro nary artery aneurysms due to Kawasaki disease. The pregnancy was further co mplicated by placenta praevia (grade IV). (C) 2000 Harcourt Publishers Ltd.
