Abstract
Novel dendrimer-silica gel hybrids were prepared from amino-terminated poly (amidoamine) generation 3 (32 cascade) and its partly ester-terminated deri vatives with tetraethoxysilane in the presence of a coupling agent 3-glycid oxypropyltrimethoxysilane by in situ sol-gel process. The scanning electron micrograph spectra showed that these transparent hybrids have the nanocomp osite structure. Their transparent and thermal properties were characterize d by ultraviolet, thermogravimetric analysis. (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, I nc.
