Abstract
A left-lateralized, lumbosacral intervertebral disk herniation, which was not apparent on epidurography, was diagnosed in a dog with magneti c resonance imaging, Precise, preoperative localization and characteri zation of the lesion allowed surgical approach and excision with minim um disruption of surrounding tissues.
