Abstract
The present work is devoted to the development of computer software fo r selecting the optimal process parameters for grinding of ferrous com ponents. It also includes an optional analysis of the residual stress in the ground components. A knowledge-based expert-system approach has been adopted for designing the software in Turbo Prolog.
