Abstract
Complementary spaces for Fourier series were introduced by G. Goes and gene ralized by M. Tynnov. In this paper we investigate a notion of complementar y space for double Fourier series of functions of bounded variation. Variou s applications are given. (C) 2000 Academic Press.
