Based on stress function theory, this paper presents a stress analysis
of the common boundary area of materials of different elastic moduli.
In addition, a new experimental method for the solution of the stress
state of points on the common boundary plane of a three-dimensional p
hotoelastic model with materials of different elastic moduli is propos
ed. An experimental solution of the stress tensor is obtained by the c
ontinuous conditions of deformation on the interface, the relationship
s between stress and strain, the stress-optics law, and the oblique-in
