Abstract
The experimentally feasible SU(2) and SU(1, 1) intelligent states are studi ed for the parameter values leading to the crescent topography of their qua sidistributions. Such states increase the sensitivity of the interferometri c measurement based on the photon-number difference and photon-number sum d etections.
