Possibility of the realization and control of the one-dimensional subrecoil
velocity selection of molecules is shown on quantum levels of the open Lam
bda -system by means of step and quasi-stationary changes of amplitude and
phase parameters of resonance counterpropagating light waves. The photoexci
tation of such selected molecules and the adiabatic transfer between the en
tangled molecular states of internal and velocity variables are analyzed at
corresponding changes of conditions for the coherent population trapping i
n the Lambda -system.
