Abstract
The titled reaction leads to the formation of 2-(diphenylmethanimino) cyclo hexanone and N-(hydroxydiphenylmethyl) cyclopentanamide. The compounds have been characterized on the basis of analytical and spectral data and mechan ism of their formation is described.
