Abstract
Understanding of the neurophysiology of cognition is advancing through the study of how animals navigate and understand space. Manipulating various cl asses of spatial information and recording from hippocampal neurons provide s a robust model for understanding how the brain stores and constructs the spatial memories that are critical for organizing daily experience.
