Abstract
We describe a case of facial paralysis in a 19-month-old male recently diag nosed with acute otitis media. Results of his physical examination was rema rkable for left-sided peripheral facial nerve palsy with an associated midd le ear infection. Physicians should understand the etiology, pathophysiolog y, treatment options, and prognosis of facial palsy in association with oti tis media.
