Abstract
Two cases in which cervical spine overdistraction occurred with the us e of skull traction are described, A summary of the clinical presentat ions and definitive treatment together with some bibliographic referen ces are discussed. Finally, suggestions regarding how to avoid overdis traction when using skull traction are given.
