Abstract
The first synthesis of cation-ordered perovskite-related phases of the KBam -1Bim+nOy series is reported. The following parameters are determined for t hese phases: the unit cell parameters (by X-ray powder diffraction analysis ), vectors of superstructural reflections (by electron diffraction), and av erage oxidation number of bismuth (by chemical analysis). The KBam-1Bim+nOy phases are not superconducting.
