Abstract
Quaternary salts of 1,1-dimethyl-1-(2-propynyl)hydrazones of acetaldehyde, benzaldehyde, 4-nitrobenzaldehyde 2-thiophenealdehyde, 4-pyridinecarboxalde hyde and quaternary salts of I,l-dimethyl-l(3-bromo-2-propynyl)hydrazones o f acetaldehyde and benzaldehyde were synthesized from the corresponding hyd razones, propargyl bromide, and 1,3-dibromopropyne at 20 degrees C or at he ating, with no solvent or in ether, acetonitrile, benzene.
