Abstract
In the reaction of N-arylmethylene-2-aminofluoren-9-ones with acetophenone under various conditions were obtained both intermediate aminodiketones and the cyclization products thereof,2-aryl-4phenyl-10H-indeno[1,2-g]quinolin- 10-ones. Indenoquinolinones were also obtained by cyclization of aminodiket ones.
